Saying goodbye to our magnetic wallpaper
After fifteen years of development, testing, and innovation, we’re sad to announce we're saying goodbye to our Magnetic Wallpaper.
This decision hasn’t been easy. Our printers recently informed us that they will no longer be able to produce this product line, as the process of switching substrates for the magnetic base disrupts their main production setup. As a small business, it’s not feasible for us to continue developing this inventive product any longer.
After years of research, colour testing, and over £40,000 invested in perfecting the product, we’ve made the difficult decision not to redevelop it with a new manufacturer.
The Magnetic Wallpaper has always held a special place in my heart. It began as my graduation project, when I first experimented with magnetic ink to create an interactive wall surface. It later became the very first wallpaper we sold (to Hilary Duff, who chose it for her son’s bedroom) and went on to win the Grand Prize at the Etsy Design Awards.
Over the years, we refined the concept into a lightweight, single-layer wallpaper that was easy to install yet still magical to use. Seeing customers bring stories to life with our magnetic characters has been one of the most rewarding parts of my design journey.
While we’re incredibly sad to see this chapter close, we want to thank everyone who has supported and believed in this product: from our early customers to the families and designers who filled their walls with imagination.
For now, we’ll be selling off the remaining stock of Magnetic Wallpaper and accessories until supplies last. Once they’re gone, this range will officially be discontinued.
