Pigs Might Fly This Halloween

It’s the time of the year, the ghosts, witches and devils are roaming the streets. Trick or treating and Halloween Party organised, why not create some Halloween Goodie Cones to fill with all the sweeties you and your family collect this Halloween. We have designed a cone template and created a step-by-step tutorial of how you can decorate your cones.
Things you will need to make the Halloween cone.

things you will need

STEP ONE: Download template here, print out and cut along the outside line.

STEP TWO: Fold the template to create a cone shape, we have created a line that shows where the edges should meet for the desired shape. When you are happy with the shape of your cone using a glue stick, glue along the edge and secure with a staple for added strength.

STEP THREE: Grab your black ribbon and cut to the length you’d like your cones to hang, we did ours at 25cm. When you have your ribbon at the correct length, secure either side of the cone, we used a staple for this, but you could stitch in place also.

STEP FOUR: Gather your lace and measure enough to fit around the top of the cone, this will also cover the staple from the ribbon handle, so don’t worry about securing with a staple. When you have cut your lace to fit around the top of the cone, using a strong hold glue, glue around the outside edge of the cone, where the lace will sit and finally attach the lace in place carefully.

STEP FIVE: Using black pipe cleaners, wrap around the cone, cutting and creating your branches for the scary woodlands forest tree.

STEP SIX: Now is the time you can get creative as you like, creating orange flowers to attach to the branches. We used tissue paper and manipulated them into some creepy floral shapes. Wrap the pipe cleaner around your floral, for extra security use a strong hold glue to attach in place.

Thank you Teresa! I have taken many things into consideration while designing our new wallpaper for adults. Fingers crossed we will launch the new designs next month. 🙂
